IBOs on Dateline

Bill Britt

Bill Britt is an Independent Business Owner (IBO) powered by Quixtar. Because he has built such a large and successful business, many IBOs choose to learn his business-building methods by purchasing training materials he markets. Like many other successful IBOs, Britt earns income from these materials, in addition to the income he earns from his Quixtar-powered business. In compliance with Quixtar rules, these completely optional materials are covered by 180-day satisfaction guarantees.

Greg Fredericks

Greg Fredericks of New Jersey is an Independent Business Owner (IBO) powered by Quixtar. In June of 2003, Dateline made Quixtar aware of on-camera statements made by Fredericks that they planned to show on their program. Quixtar took immediate and appropriate actions in response to the information Dateline provided. Corrective actions can range from warnings and retraining to suspension or termination of an IBO’s business. Quixtar’s agreement with IBOs makes clear what is acceptable conduct but also includes provisions to protect their rights to privacy. As a result, the actions we have taken in this particular situation are confidential.

Missouri Lawsuit

Like any big company, Quixtar faces lawsuits that have no merit. Sadly, the Missouri lawsuit is one such example. In fact, this dispute originally did not involve Quixtar when first filed almost four years ago. When previous lawsuits failed, the plaintiffs filed against Quixtar and its parent company, Alticor, which had nothing to do with the original allegations, but obviously have "deeper pockets" that the plaintiff's hope to raid. We will continue to mount a vigorous defense to prove the allegations against Quixtar are false.
